Skilled Occupation List Australia – a simple list to help get you started on your journey to Australia

Moving to Australia is a dream for many, but more often than not, the process can be a bit of a challenge. In our opinion though, it’s worth every ounce of effort. So don’t give up at the first hurdle.

Information overload tends to be an obstacle in itself. So, we’ve tried to make it slightly easier for you to get started, particularly if you are wondering if the skilled occupation pathway is for you (there are other pathways).

There are many different types of skilled migration visas, but here are the three main categories:

Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). These visas allow you to live and work in Australia for up to 4 years. If your occupation is on this list then you may also qualify for the Skilled Independent Visa.
Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL). These visas allow you to live and work in Australia for up to 2 years.
Regional Occupation List (ROL).
